Pate House Charity

New Cheltenham retirement flats

Pate House Charity is developing new Cheltenham retirement flats as part of a 3 year plan to enhance the retirement accommodation we provide.

Future Expansion

In order to offer more centrally located accommodation for the active elderly who are supported by housing benefit, Pate House Charity is building two new flats to add to the eight existing flats which have been recently refurbished.

The retirement flats will offer contemporary accommodation comprising living room, an up-to-date kitchen and a bedroom with an adjoining shower room. The flats have their own entrance and will be set within and share the gardens with our existing flats and conservatory.

The Pate House site is just a few minutes walking distance to central Cheltenham with all its amenities. Read more here.

Evolution

The refurbishment programme has been part of an ongoing 3 year plan to enhance the retirement accommodation which we provide in Cheltenham.

Work has already been completed on the original block to provide modern kitchens and wet rooms. This was funded from the charity’s own resources.

Still to come is a new garden, which will add to the existing garden and conservatory.

We shall be continuing our work by building two new flats in order to increase the accommodation available for elderly residents of limited means in the central town location.

Cheltenham

The rented retirement accommodation, which is a member of the Almshouse Association, is in the centre of Cheltenham which, in turn, is right in heart of the Cotswolds. You will find many beautiful and interesting amenities within walking distance of the retirement accommodation.
